The conference on “Beyond Nature and Culture: Planetary Precarity in Literary-Cultural-Linguistic Representations” addresses the “modern” rift between natural and cultural universes, which is one of the most longstanding philosophical quandaries of the Western civilization, making human and non-human lives precarious in locations of the Global South through colonization and neoliberal aggressivity.
