Dr. Avishek Parui

Dr. Avishek Parui is an Associate Professor of English and the Faculty Coordinator of the Centre for Memory Studies at IIT Madras. As the founding chairperson of the Indian Network for Memory Studies (INMS) and an Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, he is a leading voice in the field. His specialized research and extensive publications span Memory Studies, posthumanism, biopolitics, and medical humanities. He holds a Ph.D. from Durham University, UK, and has authored acclaimed books including Culture and the Literary and Postmodern Literatures.
